The Texas Brotherhood Ride consists of Firefighters, Police Officers and EMS personnel who ride bicycles to honor emergency responders who died in the line of duty. Their mission is to provide emotional and financial support to their families and co-workers and to remind them of their motto that Texas never forgets. Riders pedal every mile over 7 days speaking about and remembering the lives of those made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Riders are all first responders and travel over 600 miles during the week of the Texas Brotherhood Ride. Riders and support personnel continue the teamwork aspect during the ride – riding together, eating together and bunking together. Support personnel, with the direction of the Support Coordinator, keep things rolling during the 6-7 day journey; providing hydration, meals and mechanical support to riders. The Texas Brotherhood Ride is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity organization. Other than the cost of conducting the rides, all donated proceeds go directly to the beneficiaries designated. No one is compensated for their time and all our team members sacrifice their own time with their family and work to participate.
