A bike shop that comes to you

Bike EMS (Elite Mechanical Service) is a full-service mobile bike shop built inside a converted 2003 Road Rescue ambulance. We bring the tools, the parts and the work stand to your home or office all over the Houston Bay Area, from Clear Lake and Pearland to Dickinson, La Porte, Baytown and Galveston, and farther afield when you need us.

Why an ambulance?

Because a bike that won't shift or stop is a ride in trouble, and we treat it like one. The ambulance gives us a rolling workshop with room for a full repair stand, wheel truing, chain waxing and a parts inventory, so most jobs are finished on the spot in about 90 minutes. EMS stands for Elite Mechanical Service. We fix bikes, not people, and our mission is simple: saving rides and changing lives, one bike at a time.

Who we work on

Every rider and every bike. We service carbon race bikes from Pinarello, Specialized, Trek and Cervelo, triathlon bikes headed to Ironman, electronic groupsets like Shimano Di2, SRAM AXS and Campagnolo EPS, e-bikes, mountain bikes, family cruisers, kids' bikes and adult trikes.

How we work

• We come to you. No hauling your bike to a shop and waiting a week.

• Honest advice. We tell you what your bike needs and what it doesn't, measure chain wear and show you why.

• Clean, quiet drivetrains. We specialize in waxed chains. Our membership, The Pulse, swaps in a freshly waxed chain each visit.

• Every bike test ridden. Shifting and brakes are checked on the road before we hand it back.

• 30-day labor warranty on all service.

• A written after-care summary of what we did, sent by text or email.
